Lewes Market Town Health Check - 2006/10/25 22:24In 2004 the South East Development Agency (SEEDA) set up a programme to support and provide funding to small rural towns over 7 years until 2011. In June 2006 South Downs CVS, a voluntary organisation based in Lewes started a big project to tap into this support. Other towns have benefited from the SEEDA programme so it would be a shame not to try and do the same for Lewes. Public consultation is key to the Town Health check so a questionnaire has been designed in line with the SEEDA programme. Everyone who lives in Lewes or the surrounding villages should fill one in. The questionnaire is available online by visiting www.southdownscvs.org.uk and clicking on the banner link, or pick up a copy at the Town Hall. Alternatively phone us and we will send you a copy 01273 483832. For further information on the health check please call us or email lewes@southdownscvs.org.uk. The questionnaire will be open to the public until January 2007.

But you can of course read the postings without logging in, and in any case it only takes a couple of minutes to register - you're not losing your privacy, but you're keeping out the spammers.
