John Stockdale   Re:Pells pond - 2007/06/11 09:08 The Pells Lake is now the responsibility of Lewes Town Council not the District, though being in the Conservation Area, the Conservation Officer would have some responsibility for what goes on there. I believe there is a plan to look for Heritage Lottery Funding for the whole Pells recreation area: lake, pool and park; but that seems to have stalled. If you want to pursue this, chase the Town Council through the Town Clerk.
