I enjoy fishing in the Pells with my 8 year old daughter and i have been fishing there for the past 35 years....man and boy !!! I appreciate that the combination of carp, ducks and yobs prevents the pond from being planted up with lillies and oxygenators but surely they can get their heads together to sort something out....even if it's just to cut back the trees overhanging the paths (the big willow on the island and there's a beech or hornbeam which is very low growing). I walked through the Pells on saturday and there was a dead duck floating on the water, traffic cones and shopping trollies in the pond and rats all over the islands....happily playing in full view of everyone. There's also a notable lack of baby ducks this year....i only counted 9 ducklings and a few baby morehens. The place needs some TLC   | | You must login if you wish to contribute to this forum.
