North Street Vision - 2008/02/18 09:16 Can anyone help? What happened to the Council’s North Street Vision consultation of a year ago? Did anything ever get published? There are references to it, for example, in the Lewes Community Land Trust doc just published on this site, but if it exists where is it?

Re:North Street Vision - 2008/03/02 09:47 I think I've answered my own question...

In the latest File Note published on this site (Jan 2008) it reports "LDC officers will pick up work on the “Planning Vision”, now that the draft SFRA is available and work can begin on application of the “sequential” and “exceptions” tests to PPS25."

Unless anyone knows to the contrary, this presumably means the input from the various "stakeholders" they consulted a year ago has been languishing on someone's desk all this time.

Not so impressive, considering the LDC said at the time "As local planning authority, Lewes District Council needs to take a lead in setting a framework for the future development of this area, which best meets local needs. This will help carry forward work on the review of planning policies through the Local Development Framework and provide an up to date basis for consideration of any future planning applications for the site."

Nice one.

Dear site visitor at IP address 38.103.63.61. We were forced to make it necessary for you to register and login before making forum postings because of the constant flood of unwanted and often abusive material that was being uploaded by anonymous spammers from all over the world. I'm sure you know the sort of stuff - viagra ads and the like - what a bore! But you can of course read the postings without logging in, and in any case it only takes a couple of minutes to register - you're not losing your privacy, but you're keeping out the spammers. So do please register and continue using the forum - we need your input! Thanks, Lewes Matters Admin.
