Charles Style has indicated that he does not wish to continue a dialogue unless it is with people who agree with him. Fair enough.
In the end we all have to make up our minds whether what we are being offered is acceptable or not. On the basis of what I know -- the loss of jobs and businesses, the city centre density, the height and type of the proposed housing, the lack of a binding commitment to provide a minimum 25% of affordable homes, the traffic and parking implications, the effect on independent traders of the relocation of the commercial centre away from the High Street etc -- I just don’t want it. It’s way beyond being put right by some simple adjustments. So, I am now going to organise Phoenix Action to fight Angel Property every inch of the way.
