Lewes District Council didn't know it was Listed, and didn't check with English heritage, so have approved Conservation Area Consent to demolish it! So the Council who are threatening a resident with court over 6 25year old screw holes can't even identify or look after a Listed Building themselves, and have in fact tried to get it demolished! What hope have any of us got with this level of incompetence. It is hardly surprising that our embarassing Council is now appearing in Rotten Boroughs in Private Eye.
