The  main affected area is the Phoenix Industrial Estate to the north of the causeway on the west bank of the river, up as far as the Pells. Also, but somewhat less contentious, the Malling Brook Industrial Estate of the other side of the river.

N.B. This map is not quite correct or to scale (the roundabout at the end of Southdown Road and Brooks Close should be further east) but it gives quite a good idea.
