Michael Royde's Prospectus for Fulcrum Building

Take a look at our Links page and Michael Royde's prospectus for "The Fulcrum Building" in the Phoenix Quarter - interesting!

We are continuing to seek detailed information on issues arising from the meeting a fortnight ago, however in the interim Charles Style has offered the following in relation to the information contained on the Michael Royde website:

"After a period of consultation with English Heritage, the South East Regional Design Panel and Lewes District Council that the scheme has evolved and that we are in the process of building a model of the scheme that will be on display in the Town Hall early in the New Year. That our website will contain all the up to date drawings, images and information when it is up and running at the end of November. The reason that this information has not been presented by us before other than at our exhibition is that we wish to present a scheme that is very close to what is actually going to go before the planners rather than outdated information. We now feel we are in a position to do this. We take the concerns expressed that this development should be of the highest possible sustainable standards extremely seriously and are working hard to ensure that the goals expressed by members of Lewes Matters at the meeting can be met."

Angel have indicated that the model makers will be http://facademodelmaking.com/ with the following explanation "It will be a block model for the outline planning application so the level of detail will not be the same as a detailed application but it will show all the buildings to scale in the backdrop of all the housing and topography surrounding the site."
